just started looking at components to put together on my new rig.. definately going the AMD route. I would like to get a MB that has USB 2.0 onboard (i was reading of the gigabyte 81RXP that has USB 2.0 onboard but i dont want an Intel)...

if not, looks like ill be getting the soyo dragon + which looks really nice. :)

that is a nice board though - k7t266 pro2-ru - comes with 7 (2 in the regular spot and then a three port card blind plate and a 2 port d-con blind plate that also has status light on it. the lights are not for the usb they are for booting error reporting) and i think it has a raid controller built on so you can have 4 ide chanels raid 0 or raid 1 . its kind of red.

The Giga-byte GA-7DXR+ using the AMD 761 northbridge and VIA 686b southbridge has AGP Pro, RAID (133), onboard sound and USB 2.0 support. From what I have read it is a good board. The chipset is older now but still fast and stable.
