I was planning to build a new computer based on the components that I have right now, 2x256MB PC133 RAM, SBLive, SCSI hard drive. Probably will get a new graphic card, MX400 or Gforce 2 Ultra.
Any recommentation for AMD motherboard? Thanks.

Tyan K7 Thunder has an intergrated SCSI Controller.
Why don't you invest in scsi card and get a regular motherboard ?

Motherboard that have scsi intergrated usually commands a premium price.

The MSI KT7 Master w/ SCSI. It carries about a $150 price premium over the non SCSI version. You'd be better off buying a Tekram U160 card.

The stand alone PCI SCSI control card cost $150+ even the cheapest TekRam U3D, I just wonder it may save little with the on board SCSI card.

Maybe you will save like $10 bucks. But if you ever upgrade mobos, you are SOL.

It would be worth it to buy a seperate card.
