There was an old thread discussing this but I didn't want to dig it up. Monoprice is holding orders right now until after the holiday and I rather order something now. I've found sites that have cheap prices but the quality of the cables look like garbage compared to monoprice. For all I know though, monoprice cables just look nice and aren't any better, so if thats the case, please let me know. If it matters I'm looking for 2 RCA male to 3.5mm male cables. Picture example comparisons below with monoprice first

Fry's? I go there when I need relatively cheap stuff. Best Buy and other small shops (not a superstore Fry's style) carry small selection, and I was forced to buy a $36 monster cable once. I regretted not wanting to drive 30 min to a Frys to pick up a $5 cable, but oh well.

Cablesforless has affordable cables too.

They have the cheapo versions too

What's this for? Are you super concerned about quality?

You could spend 10 times as much and get something from Blue Jeans Cable :p

PartsExpress is another option (not as expensive as Blue Jeans Cable, but still a whole lot more than Monoprice / Cablesforless)

Monoprice has some screwed up weird management if they shut down for the holidays and change warehouses. They should ship from both at minimum, or hire a bunch of folks to run around like chickens to make it happen. Why shut down at the busiest point of the year?

No problem.

I've ordered a couple things from them.

One order I got was a headphone cable extension and it was wired incorrectly (left and right were swapped). I contacted them and they quickly took care of the issue. So... good prices and good customer service too from my experience.

Eh, depends on how they're set up. In any distribution system going from one warehouse to two is the hardest jump. Once the procedures are in place for fulfillment from multiple warehouses it's easy to add, but that first one is a bitch. Without proper procedures in place, they'd be begging for double shipments, missed shipments and a general state of chaos. They must have made the decision that it's better to make their customers happy a couple days later than piss off all of their customers right now.

I don't know about this whole "holding orders until after the holiday" business but I do know that I placed MY order on 12/26 at 11:24am and HOLY shitballs my order arrived EARLY today 12/28.

Now to be fair, I'm about an hour drive from them and overnight shipping was cheaper than USPS priority but come on! I ordered Saturday with an expected ship date of 12/28 and instead my cables ARRIVED on 12/28 and I'm talking like 8:30am.

AWESOME!

yea there are sometimes two cable sections so you have to walk around, the generic cables are cheap.
