Any all-in-one AMD microATX MBs with firewire and USB 2.0?

Title says it all, except for a question about how much of a power supply will be needed with a uATX MB with a Thoroughbred B XP1700-1800, 512MB ram, CDRW and 7200rpm HD.
I would appreciate any suggestions about uATX cases too.

You need to have Prob. a 350watt. You might be able to get by with a good name brand 300watt.

As for mATX boards the only 2 things I can thimnk of would to be....

Get the nForce2 Shuttle SFF kit and add the rest or wait for a mATX nForce2 with graphics ans the good south bridge

The other choice is to get a KM266 board with the 8235 southbridge and add a PCI firewire card,

if it doesn't need to be AMD, you can get a Via Epia M. comes with a C3 600 or 933 MHz processor, USB 2.0 and Firewire, 5.1 sound and MPEG-2 decoder for smooth DVD. tiny little board--i am running mine off of a 90W PSU too, hehehe.

also forgot to mention: has 10/100 ethernet and a single DDR memory slot. S-video and RCA tv-out and SPDIF audio out.

When are they going to come out with the new C3. This is the first one, all the reviews I saw said the first Gen chip was not strong eniugh to do much? I know they already have these planned with the upgraded C3 chip, just don't know when they are going to be out?

UPDATE

For $10 more you get the 1Ghz chip :) And I think it is the UPDATED C3

yeah, but that is a preorder item. i am not sure when it will come out, but outpost/fry's is one of the first places in the states to get them. the Epias are not that great--i have an Epia 800 and it can't play DVDs worth a damn. the Epia-M have hardware DVD playback, 6 channel sound, firewire, DDR, floppy connector, and more. the EpiaM 10000 is virtually identical to the EpiaM 9000 except that it has a better CPU, the Nehemiah. so it probably pays to wait a little while and get the Nehemiah. a neat little toy either way!

I was just about to come and update my replay(You beat me to it). The M10000 DOES have the new CPU, so I would wait for that. Def. worth the extra $10.
That and the new chip adds SSE and better/More L2 cache. It is supposed to be able to handle DVD's and other video items much better. Upgrade time for ya??? :)

Now I just need to find someone that needs one so I can talk them into letting me build it :)

I looked at some cases, most are less than $100 with power and shipping and very small.

The board I am waiting for is the Biostar M7NCG...nForce 2 w/IGP, firewire, USB2. Supposed to be available soon.

The Biostar M7NCG looks like what I am looking for.
High performance, Everything on-board.
Here is the info at Biostar M7NCG Link

Still I wonder what the power supply requirements will be for this board.
Most of the uATX desktop cases have small power supplies like in the 150W to 200W range.
With everything integrated, especially the graphics, would the power consumption be low enough and would this board function and be stable in a small case with a small power supply?
If not, what is the point of a uATX board? Might as well go with a full size.

Yes the EpiaM 10000 needs little power but the performance is no where near where the Biostar is.

There are a number of MicroATX cases that take full-size ATX power supplies...the Palo ALto PA-450, the In-Win IW-V523 (BTW, I have a nearly unused black one for sale, wasn't quite what I was looking for), and the Coolermaster ATC-500 & ATC-600 all take regular power supplies.

For roughly $150.00, you get the board which comes with the processor on it.

Now put a low end Pentium 4 motherboard with an Intel 845GE chipset and a 1.7GHz Celeron and you?ll find a board/CPU combo costing roughly $220.00 or so

Not an insult...but go get a Kt400 or the 8rda and a 1700+ for 150 dollars too....

now it seems almost useless, doesn't it

EDIT:

After looking at that mini-itx.com site I was amazed at the SIZE of the thing! If they can get a newer revision of the C# chip that suuports SSE and other functions so DIVXS at 720*480 (well, most of mine are 640*480 and 5XX*4XX but you need a little headway) play smooth I'm going to buy one and stick it inside a Dreamcast case :)

Buy one now ... C3 "Nehemiah" is out. Twice the FPU power over previous C3 models, enhanced integer performance, and SSE. From 1 GHz upward ... should do. Now VIA only need to get their butt moving and put these onto their mini-ITX boards.

Meanwhile you can use their mATX socket-370 board and stick a Nehemia in.

Magomago, that's why people buy it, to put where a motherboard otherwise wouldn't fit. Don't know if it'll help DIVX, but the newest version of the motherboard supports DDR memory and has hardware MPEG2 decoding in the built-in video ("Castle Rock," they call it).

Buy one now ... C3 "Nehemiah" is out.
Where? If the price is right I'd like to try one out just for the heck of it. I'm wondering... since I recall the Ezra core was supposed to end at 1GHz, if there will be an overlap at that speed similar to the Ezra/Samuel2 overlap at 800MHz. Yes, I ended up with THREE Samuel2 800MHz CPUs. Good thing they were FREE when I bought some Shuttle SV24 barebones, hehe.

what's disturbing is that the pictures on newegg's site does not show the cables for the usb, firewire and spdif ports. I also looked at the manual on the Biostar site, and those items are listed as "optional". I've been thinking about ordering one of these boards, but the possibility of these items being missing is holding me back. Those cables are hard to find and would add significantly to the cost...

Yeah, but are we talking about the New C3 (Nema-something) or the Old C3 (it seems the 1ghz were produced in two flavors)
