Any album collectors here? Is this worth anything?

I came across a 1971 Album by Carole King called "Tapestry."

Has been in storage since it was bought 31 years ago. Never opened.

It's about the only thing that interests me at an small estate auction I'm attending this afternoon...(besides the house).

What's the most I should pay for it? $50? more?

Not sure, but if you have any stores by you that deal with vinyl give them a call and tell them you have a mint copy of it and see what they offer.

It's worthless. I'd not pay anything for it unless you collect useless stuff, since it's not worth any real money, except maybe a couple of dollars.

It's a good album. A virgin copy of the original analog vinyl (not a later copy from a digital intermaster) is probably worth some decent bucks to the right collector.

A popular sealed LP of that age is definately worth something. There are plenty of local used collector stores around as sell as LP pricing books that you should be able to get more info from them.
