I have been searching but unable to find anything (other than the zahlman). my 1900xtx runs @ 78 cel. under full load. no overclock either. my 7800gtx ran 63 cel. under full load with a AC NV5 Rev3.

it does NOT lock up and the fan is not to loud but i would like to have it run cooler.

I have seen that but it is not scheduled to come out until end of February and none of the Silencers work with the 1900 series either (atleast every one I have seen). I wish they would come out with a silencer for it as my 7800GTX was nice and cool and quite. I have the zahlmans on my 6600gt and 6800gt but they do not work as well as the silencer in my opinion.

My X1800XT ran at 85 during Quake 4.

I just put in the X1900XTX and I am using omega drivers, the ATI drivers wont work for some reason.

My XTX at full load is sitting at 67°C. Do you have any fans on the side of your case? I've got two 80mm side fans blowing on my CPU and GPU.

The only problem I have with the cooler is the lame white color they used. It should have been black. That white looks stupid inside my case.

Did you use the drivers on the included disc or did you try to install 6.1? You have to use the driver on the disc until ATI puts out a new driver. Kind of lame if you ask me. Put out a new card that doesn't work with their latest drivers.

yes i have a antec p180 with 4 120mm fans 2 intake in the front and 2 exhaust.

i have found my card has the following fan settings (using atitool). i would be interested to see what your fan settings are (I have an ATI X1900XTX Retail Box).

temp / fan speed
>0 / 27%
>70 / 32%
>80 / 36%
>88 / 50%
>91 / 55%
>94 / 59%
>97 / 68%
>100 / 100%

by changing the settings i can get my card to run below 65 degrees cel. under full load with the fan at 40%

i wonder if cards made by different companies have different settings or is this something with the driver or firmware.
