Any (affordable) hardware for transmitting HDMI over WIFI?

Hey guys, just was wondering if anyone knows a way to transmit an HDMI signal to a WiFi router to a PC?

I know there are HDMI wireless transmitters that exist. But they are limited in range (100-200ft LoS) and you have to have a capture card for each one. This would be our last resort option.

The cheapest setup I've found exactly what I'm looking for is the Teradek Cube 255: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/859076-REG/Teradek_CUBE_255_Cube_255_HDMI_Encoder.html

The WIFI is our ideal choice because it offers the range we're looking for (800-1200ft LoS) and scales easily if we decide to add more cameras.

But at $1600 a pop it's pretty steep for 3 cameras.

Wired is not an option sadly.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!

HDMI has way more bandwidth than wifi, like 20 times higher. Not sure how you could possibly do it raw. If you want to capture and encode, use any PC. (Assuming significantly lower quality is ok) What quality do you need?

If you are trying to transmit from a camera, why don't you just buy cameras that connect via wifi in the first place?

The cameras we're shooting with are recording 4k (one of them hits 75-90Mbps). But they can also output 1080p down-converted. We're not looking for MAX quality. But just good youtube quality 1080p (about 6Mbps) which WiFi can easily handle to livestream our events. Fully edited 4k can be later. Just trying to give decent quality "instant gratification" for our viewers and then the full edited and cleaned up 4k version later.
