Any advice?

My pages on Firefox are full of ads since last night. I may have clicked on something bad when shopping days ago. Some read 'Ads by PriceMinus' in the bottom. I find many posts like this one. But they are about Windows. Is it the same on Mac iOS?
Thanks for any advice.

I came accross the same problem on my windows (64bit) recently. When I open some pages via Firefox, it always redirects to an ad page, it is really irritating. I would try the solution recommended by the link.
As for your Mac ios, I'm sorry. some some other guy could help you ASAP 😛

first use malwarebytes.
Update malwarebytes and reboot and then do a full scan.
May need to use other scanners like spybot and other scanners.

The website you linked provides a tutorial for manual removal also for Mac OS, just scroll down and you'll see it.

And if that doesn't work (as in it's not truly a virus), the extension ABE for Firefox should help, now and in the future (it's very customizable so sites you want to support, like this one, can be ignored).
