I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 with extra cab and a shell that I would like to sell. I live in the middle of nowhere and I am considering putting it up for sale on some of the online auto sales places.... Any recomendations on sites or advice for selling the thing? Thanks!

Put it on yahoo and ebay autos.

Tioga Pass.... During the winter it can be up to a 6 mile snowmobile ride to get in to where I live... no hard phone line and about 45 minutes to nearest town of more than 400 people..... I guess that qualifies as one of the few BFE places in California... 🙂

I think the AutoTrader Web site and the Auto Trader magazine are two different operations. I had an individual contact me from the Auto Trader publication last summer and was running some kind of promotion where they'd come out and take a picture of my vehicle and run the ad until my car sold. I don't recall the amount, but it was quite cheap. I sold my vehicle in a few days, so I didn't have to use the service.
