Rig in sig. I think it is up to date. I am wondering, is there any good reason to updating the BIOS on my motherboard from 1F to 1J? Mainly wondering in terms of OC improvements and memory tweaking with the new AGESA. Particularly if there are any MSI X570 users who might know about a big benefit/issue, your experience would be appreciated.

Here is the list of BIOS files for reference. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MEG-X570-ACE/support#bios
Obviously the fine details are a bit sparse.

Thanks!

Not an MSI user, but with my X570 Asus board I found that my memory tweaking got more predictable with their final 1.2.0.7 AGESA based BIOS. I know people have mixed experiences with it, and some are downright superstitious, but this version seems like the end point of Z3 where AMD seems to have sorted most bugs out (also non-OC related), so I would lean toward upgrading once and for all. There's the obvious X3D support but doesn't look like you'll need that specifically.

1F is AGESA ComboV2AM4 1.2.0.3, 1J is 1.2.0.7
1.2.0.6 is a faster performer than 1.2.0.3, and 1.2.0.7 is the end of the road for AM4 , as @CakeMonster pointed out.
I say yes, flash it. Faster and all the security and stability fixes.
