I guess I am about ready to take the plunge with Win2K.

I see a pretty good deal of $102 for the Upgrade (I have Win98SE) or $115 for the Full Version. Both are OEM from Direct Deals.

Any advantage other than saving $13 for an upgrade version over a clean install?

Can't you do a clean install with the upgrade version? You just need your other OS's (NT, 98, ME) CD...

According to the thread I started in the "Hot Deals" Forum (From members that have the Upgrade CD), the upgrade will do a clean install - the installation will just ask for your current O/S CD.

BTW, the OEM Win2K Pro OEM Upgrade (without COA) is $68. I ordered one.

So, evidently there is NO advantage of the Full Version over the Upgrade (unless you don't have a previous version of WIN).

Sweet, who DOESN'T have a 95, 98, or ME disc laying around for a clean Win2k :)
