pc, ps3,,, if it's really good ,, i guess i can get an xbox for it, it is the weekend afterall

Advance wars can go on WAY WAY longer than a flight, that's for sure.. the missions are great... great game.. and your hands won't get tired because it doesn't require you to mash quickly... it's like chess,, but less old and more fun...

and at home you can play it online, it also has voice chat.. 😀
 
Well, turn-based RPG's are really a niche game category that gets smaller and smaller across the spectrum unfortunately.

Here's some games off the top of my head for the NDS:
- Disgaea
- Suikoden
- Persona Devil Survivor
- Fire Emblem
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance R2

Just want to confirm, Valykria Chronicles is like Advance Wars? I've had it on my wish list for a long time (because I'm a Sega fanboy) and it's cheap now so it might be time to pick it up.

Advance Wars really is an awesome game. I only got in on it after I got my Game Boy Micro, so it was already a few years old at the time. I took it with me on a trip to Hong Kong and I was consumed by the game.

If you like advance wars you'll like valkyria chronicles.. GET IT USED soooo cheapppppp and ps3 disks don't scratch much..

Honestly,, advance wars could only be a better game if it some how gave blow jobs for when you got tired after a battle... dame good game..

Or maybe bundled with fleshlight,, i mean, we already know gamers need one.. hahahahaaaaa😳😳

Second this. Fire Emblem is 0 grinding. It's just getting through the game.

One thing to note is that if people die, they are dead and out of the game. It matters a tiny bit in regards to story.


FFTA2 does have some "grinding" in it, but I've spent more hours playing this game than pokemon ruby, like over 120 hrs. Realllly fun game.

I hate grinding... went through blu red yellow pokemon. They're part of the reason I hate grinding.
