I am thinking to upgrade my old system (cel500 abit be6-2 Clap) I first
think to buy a new mobo (Asus Cusl2-c) but then with the help of my
financial situation, now i think to change the cpu only, does anybody here
using be6-2 with 133 mhz coppermine 700-800 900 etc..
does it make you any problems? which bios dou you using sh-uh?? dou you use
additional cooling for clap or system or anything different from standart
system settings? a friend of mine had Abit Bx 133 with tnt2ultra after 4
months of flawless working the whole system stopped working. they can't even
boot up to bios,he had to change the board tnt to geforce2mx. it was very
hard and costy :), i just dont want to have problems like this. it is very
very hard to have rma here in Turkey so what do you suggest?
:) any helpwould be appreciated :)
ps:can you tell me any differenet bios settings you have like ram cas or
other that i should now ? :)

:confused:

Do not know about a 133 chip. I had a system with a p3 550 100mhz running at 150mhz gave it to my brother. If you do decide to go with a 100 mhz chip stay away from the 800 I had one and the thing would do 124 mhz but that is about it. I believe that the 700 will do 133. Or you could go for a 700 in the fc-pga format and use a slocket card. I have never done this but I have 2 700s fc-pga and both will do 1000 with no problem. I always buy boxed do not want anyone pretesting them. BIOS = UH My board has the 366 not the 370 chip (HPT)
