wanted to know if there were any 9800SE's or 9800's with R360 cores, and i guess Hynix or Samsung memory. i guess you could figure out the ramifications....

Some Sapphire 9800SEs 256bit come with R360 cores, but nobody guarantees that you're getting the R360 core if you buy one of those. I don't know about the RAM.
Why do you need to know anyway? There's no BIG difference between R350 and R360 except for the thermal diode.

well, if you paid $140 for a 9800SE, for example, and it happened to have an R360 core and hynix or samsung 2.8ns, you could theoretically flash it to 9800XT, correct?

btw, know any place where i can find a Sapphire 9800SE 256bit? newegg doesn't have em'

if you get the powercolor "R98SE-C3" chip i believe it has the R350 or R360 core only. if you get a card that uses the 128bit memory i believe there is a chance you will be getting a R330 core and you won't be able to do much in the way of softmodding to a Pro/XT

I've heard of se cards, powercolor I think, with 360 cores. Your best bet is finding a 9800 pro with the r360 core. I know the new MSI's are pretty reliable. My BBA 9800 pro came with a 360 core and can reach 430/370 with stock cooling.
