Remember in the late 90's when wide legs were all the rage? Where are we supposed to get em nowadays?
JNCO and GAT are both out of business, Kikwear fortunately is still operating, but you can only find em at Kikwear.com or Bewild.com at MSRP. I'm not paying $60+ for a pair of jeans. Gone are the days when you could walk into any retail chain and get em on sale in your size for $30. Nowadays it's either skintight emo or goth/bondage chains streamers and handcuffs hanging off your ass.
These are my preferred style of jeans. 32" leg, large deep pockets, minimalist design, jean/twill. I'm not into nylon or polyester, or uber wide 60" UFO Buddhas with neon orange/red colors...
My Kiks from 7+ years ago are still going strong, but after years of daily wear I'm thinking it's about time to retire them... Is there a secret store for those of us that refuse to grow out of the 90s? I want some new pants and I miss the practicality of jeans with the comfort and freebreeze feel of a manskirt.
