Any 7800GTs that use RAM faster than 2.0ns??

So I am going crazy waiting for my eVGA 7800GT.

I noticed that the eVGA uses 2.0ns RAM?? I'm pretty sure that my X800XL had 2.0ns RAM as well.

How are 7800GT users hitting 1200+ with their RAM while my X800XL couldnt get those speeds while using 2.0ns RAM itself?

Most X800XLs used Samsung (K4J55323QF-GC20) chips and most 7800GTs use Infineon (HYB18T256324F-20) chips. 2.0ns (500 MHz) is not the only timing in the RAM either. There are more timings you can tweak with ATITool, but I don't think they've found the correct registers for the NVIDIA cards to do it yet. In addition to all that, the voltage could be different too. The default voltage for the Samsung chip was 1.8V and for the Infineon it was 2.0V so that could explain the extra clocks.
