Any 590 SLI boards for Intel?

Not yet from what I know...but they will be shortly. Just keep checking places like Newegg & ZipZoomFly...they will be there first more then likely

Thanks guys! Dying to be build a new gaming rig! Not to get too far off topic, but what about DirectX 10 video cards? Anything coming this year?

The Newer Asus P5N32-SE SLI Deluxe that is Conroe compatable is suppose to have that chipset, I will post back as soon as I can find the link to the article I read.

edit: oops, now I see you are just looking for availability. 😱

Probably good thing I just bought an Xbox 360 since the 590 SLI for Intel and DX10 cards are nowhere to be found!

The NDA was extended again by NVIDIA on Saturday. More details later.......

Gary, Why do you tease us like that? Please please please give us a little tidbit to ease our pain of anticipation. When, in "your best estimate" will the 5 series nforce boards be released and why did nvidia extend the NDA?

The NDA was moved out to the end of August on the 590SLI boards, of course there might be a site or two that end up breaking the NDA. The reason is Nvidia wanted the press sites to review actual production boards that will be available (at launch) instead of the reference boards we currently have in for testing. The good news is the 570SLI board is not under NDA currently and will be launched before the 590SLI.

Thanks for the info Gary. Too bad that I already bought EPP memory. Guess im gonna have to wait till the end of august to get the 590. Sigh.... More waiting

So a review on the Asus P5NSLI on Anandtech tomarrow? Awsome.

I wish, 570SLI will be coming shortly. 😀

Are there huge differences b/w the 570 and 590??

From reading on the Am2 counterparts....not really.
The biggest difference is overclocking, and that too anandtech mentioned that it might be the bios limiting the 570 since they (anandtech) thought that since the 570 is simpler in design it should overclock as well as the 590 boards.
AFAIK about 32x vs 16x; reading the forums and reviews shows that the extra bandwith will give an average increase in fps close to the margin of error.

Finally got my grubby hands on an E6600, now I need the 590. Have been using the Asus 590 with the AM2 cpu for a couple of months now and I have to say, it is a fantastic board, very OC-friendly. Plus it will work with the 7950 which I am running now.

hexus claim the IE-570-SLI has only 20 PCIe lanes, unlike its AMD counterpart, is this a typo?

Nope. Check Nvidia's site on the specs.
http://www.nvidia.com/page/nforce5_specs_intel.html
590 - 570
DDR2 Memory (MHz) 667 MHz 667 MHz
PCI Express
# Lanes 48 lanes 20 lanes
# Links 9 links 5 links
Configuration 16, 16, 8, 1, 1, 1,1, 1, 1 - 16, 8, 1, 1, 1
But then again 667mhz? A lot of typos goin on so who knows till retail specs are printed directly from mobo sites.

that is odd, the AMD 570SLI has 28 PCIe lanes..................................?

I read about the Maximum PC Dream Machine 11 on this month's issue. They got a 590 SLI INTEL edition reference board from Nvidia and although it is a very early beta reference board, 590 SLI Intel w/ EEP Corsair, Conroe and Dual 7900 GTX s creates a mind shattering list of record breaking HUGE Performance benchmarks. Can not wait to here more about the 590 SLI Intel edition.
