any 3007WFP-HC issues?

Hey all,
I just recently purchased a Dell 3007WFP-HC, and I was wondering if there have been any known issues with this monitor. Since the HCs are newer than the nonHCs, I assume they include any fixes to problems that plagued the earlier 3007 nonHC? I was also wondering how easy it would be to scale down some games and play them at slighlty lower res (eg 1920x1200) with a 8800GTS 640mb version. Thanks!

Once calibrated the monitor is quite beautiful. Very few issues, S-IPS quality colors and panels. Calibrated just makes it better, though out of the box, it is still quite good.

As far as a 8800GTS 640MB goes, I really would upgrade to a GTX or Ultra at the least. My Ultra handles the 30" quite well, in fact I can play most DX10 games without going unplayable unless AA is on, but it does cut it close at times.

Yeah...about the GTX and Ultra, although it does seem I have the money for the 3007, I don't have a big graphics budget, and would rather wait for the G92 (if its good) rather than spend >$400 on a current gen card. Thanks for the info though, can't wait until I can play full res
