12" is the largest notebook/netbook I can fit into my motorcycle's tank bag, so that's what I'm aiming for. I'm looking for something with at least a 768p display.
A small SSD option (32-64GB) is preferable because it is a powerful magnetic tankbag and I don't want to wonder if a HDD can take it. Of course, I can always add it later at greater expense. 🙁
I'm waiting for Optimus as long as it takes because I demand a discrete GPU even though I've been spoiled by my 9-cell netbook battery's 9-hr battery life (for an original Acer Aspire one).
CULV pretty much comes from demanding Optimus and wanting to make sure that, whatever the GPU, it isn't bottlenecked by a netbook CPU, even if it is a netbook like the Alienware M11x. Too bad there is no Optimus in the Alienware M11x. I hope they revise it or make an M12x.
I keep hitting up Google and I'm not finding much (too early?)... nothing fits my exact needs. Is there a list of known Optimus-enabled notebooks both in production and in development? Wikipedia fails me, as does typing "Optimus" on engadget.com and sorting by date.
