You can't do much with the colour of your Blood Oranges accept for planting a new tree, because it all depend on which type of Blood Oranges varriety that you have.

Fruit ripen period in you area:

Moro - Dec/Mar (skin - bright red blush; flesh - deep red)

Sanguinelli - Feb/Apr, egg shape (skin - cherry red; flesh - slightly lighter than Moro/deep red)

Tarocco - Feb/Apr, largest & best tasting of all blood oranges variety (skin - orange with blushed red flashes; flesh - colour varies depend on trees & fruit to fruit)

Cara Cara - Nov/Feb, (skin - orange; flesh - pink)
