ants in computer?

my dorm room is a mess and i saw an ant crawl in my computer. the side panel was off so i just killed it. system has been running fine for 6 hours since, can ants do any damage is they are in there?

haha thats the funniest thing ive ever heard...

we just dont have ants in los angeles...or at least that i have seen inside

in baltimore the mice and cockroaches ate or scared away all the ants so there were none around
 
I refer you to the simpsons episode where Homer becomes an astronaught....who knows what damage those meddling ants could do! :Q
