Is it only me or is NOD32 less resource-hogging than Kasp?

Both offer real-time scanning but it seems like Kaspersky scans more on the hard drive, or at least thats what I think when I hear the drive reading...

Kaspersky has better detection rate and somewhat more resource usage.

I'm really anal about AV resource usage (haven't used an AV in 5 years for this reason) but I finally bit the bullet and tried NOD32 and Kaspersky. NOD32 is lighter yes, but it's almost impossible to tell.

I bought Kaspersky.
