Just a heads up, the $45 easy rebate @ Staples is also good for up to 10 rebates per Customer/Address! Bitchin' if you have multiple PC's like most of us do!

OP updated, more bad news than good, many of the deals we had in the last update have expired. I was able to find a few decent deals, but hopefully the community might be able to find some that I overlooked.

Officedepot has many free AR stuff but....

One of which is has Kaspersky internet security. OFFICE depot has it for $80 with $80 in rebates = FREE.

They often pricematch competitor coupons. They accepted a $20 off $50 Officemax coupon no problem.

My total came to $65 with $80 in rebates. I end up making $15 for buying the program. :)

AVG Free Edition (different from the antimalware version used in the majority of the detection rate tests in that it lacks the ewido engine) has a poor detection rate compared to competitors.

Kaspersky provides one of the best (and arguably the best) detection rate and removal abilities of any antivirus on the market. They are also the only antivirus company that updates every hour, so they have the quickest threat response in the industry, all at a minimal expense to system resources (it is lean and mean). It also works with XP 64 and Vista.

And thanks, Fallengod!

Kaspersky IS is now free after a rather substantial $65 rebate.

Thank you sir!

Anyone know if the subscription includes a free upgrade to KIS 7 when it is released later this year?

The KIS FAR deal is also available at Fry's B&M through Tuesday 7/3.

I'm apprehensive about trusting Allrebates for $65. How have people been doing re getting their rebates paid through them? There's a complaint about them posted in the Rebate Tracking thread.

Have one care and don't care for it because I cant turn off the tuneup. Other than that its ok. Wont renew it after a year since I can get McAfee for free from comcast.

you should update the OP saying the price for kaspersky is after Mfg. UPgrade MIR, regular rebate is only like 10. So it will still be like 50 bucks or more.

EDIT: The Internet Security solution at Frys is a single rebate. I think its non-upgrade.

Ditto! Saw the Kapersky deal the other day and almost forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!
