AntiVir considers TweakNow Reg Cleaner a virus?

I just installed TweakNow Reg Cleaner, and before I could even run it, AntiVir kept popping up saying it was a Worm/Trojan. It's an updated version of TNRC, maybe it has a flaw? If not, what's a good alternative Registry cleaner thats free?

AntiVir also called the GAIM installer a trojan in addition to consistently freezing my machine for upwards of 30 seconds whenever I started a program that I hadn't used in a while.

So I'm using Kaspersky now.

I have Kaspersky on a disc. I got it along with CyberScrub. I never used it though, because the version I have barely has a UI. I could never really tell what was going on so I haven't used it.

Should I switch?
