I have been on mine for almost 5 weeks ago, and on like wednesday, I started feeling so great, I had so much energy, and I just can't stop moving, I have been getting like 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night, and I don't feel like I need to eat, I have so much energy, I just want to jump around and do something, I feel great.

yeah well there is a flip side to every coin buddy, just wait until your wang doesn't rise to meet the occassion. A common sideeffect.

Cut down on your dosage. I sounds like you're having far too much fun with your prescription drug.

Just be careful. Maybe see your doc about adjusting dosages, because you need to be eating and sleeping. I'm sure there's a balance so you can be enjoying life and still be healthy.

It's not as common as people think it is.

Hey Jerboy, why do you so love to put your foot in your mouth? You could not be more wrong.

Think BEFORE speaking... rules to live by.

Just wait...you'll soon see that antidepressants rob you of the highs as well as the lows. This manic spell you seem to be under won't last.

As I understand it Anti-Deps attempt to create a levelling off, so no more lows. What a severely depressed person feels as manic may be considered normal by non polars.

Perhaps they should consider implementing a Birth Control like regimen of anti-deps to create a feeling of normal abnormality. Rather than just a plateau of there should be minor ups and downs.

Of course I'm no doctor and doubtless many would consider this quite silly. However, I do feel that overcoming the struggle of having a bad day leads in the end to a brighter outlook. It is important that we do not give the depressed medication to cure the physical without giving them the support needed to overcome the psychological....

I think people that need these drugs just to stay happy are just pathetic. I understand some people have chemical imbalances and need these drugs to stay level headed, but people who are perfectly healthy and just feel depressed shouldn't be taking the drugs. They aren't solving the problem that is causing them to feel down and depressed. Take the drugs away, and you'll feel even more depressed and down. It's just an endless cycle.

I've been on Serzone since July, 2000. It is an anti-depressant, but because it is an SSRI, it can be used for anxiety, which is what I use it for. I think it is starting to wear off after almost 2 years, though...
