Anticipation for NES

I played it when I was little. I distinctly remember trying to quickly ask my mom how to spell "syringe" before the timer ran out! I remember liking it a lot - renting it several times.
 
I must have been one of the few people in america to own a Sega Master System

Oh god how I envied all my friends with NES's 🙁
 
hah ... my friend and I play this all the time on the NES emulator on XBox. the game is fun as shlt with 2 people, but we always have to put it on the hardest mode where it doesn't show you how many letters or words the answer is.

I have. They have this cool game called "Contra", and it's hella hard to beat. But don't worry. I read my recent issue of Gamepro and found a cheat code to give 100 lives!

does everyone still remember the cheat code? It is forever engraved in my mind.

About Anticipation.. I definitely played it and still own it (though it's somewhere across the country right now).. I just can't remember exactly what it was about.
 
the contra code is famous. up up down down left right left right b a [and start to unpause].

anyway, when Wii comes out you could probably play it in all its nostalgic glory.

heh i wouldn't even consider it the "contra" code ... it's more of the Konami code. it worked for a handful of Konami games. only other one I can think of off hand is Life Force.

and it wasn't 100 lives ... it was 30 😛
