Finaly public protests are starting in earnest and it's about time.

I also found this video on LiveLeak: Trump "Everything in Washington is a Lie . Advertisement may not be safe for work.

I can't stand Trump normaly but I agree with everything he said about the war including this quote "TRUMP: BUSH 'PROBABLY THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES'"

It's just a mater of time now....

My friend woke me up today to go.

I decided to stay home.

I disagree with the war. I disagree with sending our soldiers home.
Protesting is only good for picking up chicks IMO. (go on flame me)

Even as one with a democratic stripe running down from my mother milk, this don't vote republican ever again has no traction with me. You vote for the least clueless candidate and democrats can sometimes prove even more clueless. Sadly partisan politics can make total boobs out of otherwise sensible people.

Place our current woes squarely where they belong--on GWB&co. who quite arguably hijacked any values in the Republican party.

Sanity will return---I just keeping telling myself that---and we may all even learn a positive lesson in the process.---meanwhile---a glass of beer is a sad substitute.

Yup it's easy to be against the war. Not so easy to say pull the troops now. Sort of like taking a crap and then not wiping your ass.

Don't vote Republican? What a joke. IIRC the last (midterm) election was an Iraq mandate, and the Democrats have done nothing to get us out of this war.

It's pretty simple to me: Against the war in Iraq = No troops in Iraq = Immediate pullout.

The reason that Republicans have such an easy time tormenting Democrats about "alternatives" is that Democrats refuse to acknowledge that simple idea. Quite simply, the Republicans are right: if you do not believe we should be fighting in Iraq, then you should support a withdrawal. I see very little gray area here.

There were a bunch of protesters here yesterday. The funny thing is that all their signs were promoting peace/anti-war. Thinking about it, I can't help but wonder what they think of WW2. Should we never have gotten involved? Let Japan eventually invade us? I can see being against the current war (and in many ways I am), but saying we should never fight is insane.
