Anti-Virus Program - Need to install but no internet

I have an infected computer that I'm trying to clean up for a friend, but it won't connect to the internet (IE window closes immediately after opening) I think because of a virus problem. Any free AV programs you can download and burn to a disk? Everything seems to want to be downloaded directly to the computer it will be used on, and obviously that isn't going to work.

Download the files to your PC and put them on a pendrive or burn to a cd.

Here's a recent Antivir w/ definitions dated 9-5-05:

You can also download Kaspersky v5 trial:

If you have XP or ME disable system restore and install both in safe mode, reboot (after you install Kaspersky), go back to safe mode and run the scans.

You may also want to run Spy Sweeper while you're at it.

Heck run Spybot as well. :p
