anti-static bag equivalent?

I need to ship a hardrive to someone that wanted it and I have run out of anti static bags. What will do the same as one? Please give serious answers.

As long as there is no exposed capacitors, use alum. foil.

Hopefully some of those should help you out.

A static bag needs to be non-conductive and static-proof.

Aluminum Foil is conductive, but static proof. It can work in some situations...but it can be dangerous for certain parts.

Aluminum foil is best, but if the device has a battery with exposed terminals, then I'd use several layers of ordinary newspaper if I had nothing else available. Note: do not use shiney paper or plastic coated paper.
