Anti-Spam Software Recommendation

I'm getting way too much spam every day and after reporting it to my cable ISP, they said there's nothing they can do and advised me to try changing my email name to something less intuitive! So I was wondering which anti-spam software works well.

This is not General Hardware related.

Well I use earthlink and they block about 60% of my spam mail.... never had one email stopped that wasnt spam.... what I use to check my email tho is Mailwasher... It checks spam servers and auto sets spam mail for deletion.... the feature I like is it has a bounce feature... it sends back a email like your email doesnt exsist... it can help stop some spam.

Dulanic: Yeah my ISP claims that their filter stops 70% of all spam, but I still get more than a dozen spams/day! Btw, are you referring to the freeware version or the 'Pro' version of MailWasher?

I have the free version of Mailwasher. Worked like a charm and kills 98% of my spam I'd say. Was getting tons of spams a day before that and I did NOT want to give up my mail account. Just search google.

Thanks - there are lots of 'freeware spam-blockers', but I didn't know which ones are worthwhile to download and install. I'll give Mailwasher a go.
