"Anti-rust" high-heat paint/coating?

I know there's flat black spray paint for BBQ grills; I used that last time. But now I want to try to slow down the rust. 🙁

The exhaust on my bike is rusting; has been for about two years now. About two years ago, I sprayed it good with that high-heat flat black paint for refinishing BBQ grills. It looked good for awhile then flaked off.

Is there some kind of anti-rust paint/treatment that can withstand high heat?

I could treat the exhaust first, then spray it black. It doesn't have to look "new" just not "rust colored" 🙁

Thanks, notfred. That stuff looks awesome, but it doesn't look like they sell it on the website...you gotta take your part somewhere and get it done, right?

Yeah, you have to take it to a powdercoating shop to get it done. Should last forever, though.

Otherwise I'd try engine paint, you can get it at any auto parts store.

Try por-15.
It is the best stuff in the world to combat rust. I use it on restorations. I haven't used their high temp stuff but I'm sure the quality is the same.

Edit: Of course use the rust treatment first.

If you want cheap then sand all teh rust off and go to a parts store (advance, autozone, etc...) and they have paint that is made for exhust and very high temp items. I think it will do 1500 degrees. BUT you cannot air dry it, it has to be heated on. So you paint it then install on bike and run engine to cure the paint on.
