Anti-piracy company engages in piracy!

Anti-piracy company, Vigilant Defender, pirated a leaked copy of Deus Ex Human Revolution, modified its code and re-uploaded it to torrent sites. After a couple of levels, their version takes players to their webpage to answer a survey.

They are using other people's work for their own research purposes without the permission of the game developers or publishers. So they seem worse than your average pirate, since they are a business doing it for profit.

LOL, you're trying to make it sound like they're the "holier than thou" type anti piracy outfit who spends their time tut-gutting at users of piracy websites. Anyone who bothers to read the article will see that the company's founder is a piracy advocate with links to the "scene". Nice try with your "gotcha!" post though.
