Naw. I'm fine with it staining my cheap undershirts, but I don't want it staining my sheets. What brand are you using? I've found Degree to be pretty effective for something you can find everywhere.

Antiperspirants don't work. Switch to deodorants.

I generally try to just use deodorant, but if I know I'm going to be sweating a lot or working a long day I have to use anti-perspirant. Deodorant will not fend off the BO long enough or well enough. Maybe my pits are just worse than most people's.

And I thought this thread was going to be about geniuses using spray antiperspirant cans against their skin and seeing how long they can stand the pain...

Hold it on long enough, destroy your nerve endings, and you'll probably be able to do it until the can runs dry.

I do that with Certain Dri - it's in the directions. Keeps me dry for 3 days.

Yeah, same here. Certain-Dri is just a more concentrated form of the main ingredient in regular anti perspirant. I applied the principle to regular anti-perspirants and it works.

What about your morning shower?

The active ingredient in anti-perspirants work by closing up your pores. They constrict when in contact with the chemical. So you put the anti-perspirant on night before, sleep all night with it on and it works on your pores. You can shower normally the next day.

Spray of Right Guard antiperspirant (from Walmart/Kroger) in the morning and I never have a problem.

Funny you mention that, was at a family gathering today and they had the heat up quite high and I was sweating badly under the pits. I kept having to find an excuse to go to the bathroom so I can go wipe under there without it seeming awkward and getting asked why I'm going so often. I was kinda worried that I was starting to smell. I seem to get the pit sweats when it's cold out, oddly. I switched from Old Spice to Degree last year and figured it worked, but think it was just a coincidence as I was fine all summer and as soon as it started to get colder out I sweat more out of the pitts now. Quite annoying because it starts to stain clothing after a while, and I hate shopping for clothes.

Regular deodorant does not work for me, I will literally drip sweat.

Once a sweating session starts it seems very hard to stop it too. Like I'm at home now, it's 17C in the room and I feel just fine. At 20 something I was super sweaty.
