"Sarah Palin frightens the hell out of me. I don't want her anywhere near the White House," said Marybeth Holleman of Anchorage.

Protesters had a wide range of beefs with the governor. They included backers of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, abortion rights proponents, advocates for wolves and polar bears, opponents of the Iraq war, and people who said Palin is not ready to be a heartbeat from the presidency.

Alison Till, a geologist in Anchorage with the U.S. Geological Survey, said issues such as energy and global warming require solid and unbiased science to make good decisions. Palin's opposition to listing the polar bear as threatened under the endangered species act and her support of teaching creationism in public schools are not the hallmarks of someone who relies upon solid science, Till argued.

"She is unqualified," Till said.

I'm with them all! She is a scary bitch. She and McSame would make a hell of a team to bring this country to it's lowest point ever. Well, that is until Jr is done running the country into the ground that is what's left of it.

Oh! The desperation ....

Is that the new trend now...calling everything against the Republican ticket "desperation"?

Lame.

I don't understand how Obama supporters can say she is "not ready to be a heartbeat from the presidency" but then say Obama is ready to be THE president.

Lame.

It sure beats the old trend of calling everything divisive.

Because they look at HER background and listen to HER speak and realize the country is F*CKED if she takes over.

I find that rather puzzling too.

They are expending much more effort attacking Palin than McCain.

And how much effort is being spent exhorting Obama and his platform.

OF the four most things in priority level, they are going after the lowest.
Desperation, fear or lack of ability to handle the other three issues above Palin.
