Anti-Monopoly?

I was placing some boxes in my attic this morning when I noticed in there a board game box labeled "Anti-Monopoly." Apparently, my parents had bought it some time ago and hadn't bothered playing it since.

It appears to be essentially the same as monopoly, except that the wording has beeen changed to provide a more socialist experience. For example, monopolies are now "unions" and so on.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share that funny little finding.

The funny thing about that is that I'm more socialist than they are (although some members of my mother's family are pretty out there).

The real one.
That's the REAL Anti-Monopoly. I dunno what this cheap knock-off is. I used to have a copy of this. It was a lot of fun. You had to file indictments against monopolistic corporations and get them broken up. It featured real trusts like US Steel and Standard Oil. It was pretty neat.

Anyone ever play Calopoly? It's just like regular MONOPOLY but based on the Cal Berkely campus.
