anti-double post?

cool... just hit submit twice and immediately got a message saying you can't submit or edit twice! :) I like it a lot

No, actually it's a real pain. Say for instance you try to post when you're not logged in, or try to post a banned word/phrase (side note: "in before the l0ck" is now a banned phrase :D) You'll get the message that you not allowed to post. Then you go back, fix the message and try to repost. You can't:|. Because messages can only be posted once! Even though it wasn't posted in the first place. So then you have to do a whole lot of comy and pasting. errrrrrrrrr.:|

I agree that's an annoyance, but I'm willing to put up with that in order to get rid of the double posts the occasionally pop out. A worthwhile trade-off IMHO.

I've run into the annoyance factor myself. It's mostly annoying because IE willm screw up and then I have to hit back, refresh, and try to post it all over again. The only thing I don't agree with is that feature in place when editing mesages.
