do they think anyone that reads Dante's Inferno is going to hell, too?

Probably, yes. I grew up next to a family that was uber religous. Their kids weren't allowed to watch anything that wasn't released by the church. No movies, music, books etc.. I remember trying to talk to them about the new whatever movie or toy etc, and they would tell me I was going to hell... Their hearts were good, I mean they legitimately thought they were helping, but it was creepy.. Like I'm going to cut your head off to save you from yourself creepy..

Yeah, I guess I had one of those types on my school bus in high school. I was reading the Piers Anthony "Incarnations of Immortality" series, and she saw it and told me the book was evil, because of reincarnation.
Man, I wanted to corrupt her sister so bad...
Did you even click the link? Look at them. Do any of them look employable? Of course not.Seriously though, do these people not have jobs to go to?

Electronic Arts = Anti-Christ. Must be people who bought the retail boxed version of Spore.
Seriously though, do these people not have jobs to go to? As if there aren't more important issues facing America right now other than a video game based on the Divine Comedy. I always thought the book was about the consequences of sin. According to Wikipedia, the game is about salvation. Protesting against something you know nothing about = Epic Anti-Christ Fail.

Just a publicity stunt.
Mocking religious groups (however extreme) for publicity does make EA seem like the Anti-Christ...

Gamers of all varieties will buy this product if it's, well, actually a good game. So instead of engaging in a shamelessly anti-Christian stunt to promote your poor excuse of a product, maybe you ought to work on making this game, you know, something better than a blatant God of War rip-off and make it, ya know, something worthwhile?

Really bad move by EA. Mocking people is a good way to lose potential customers.

I thought the signs were a bit gaming clever.
I mean the cheat codes one with the controller inputs is kind of not something I would expect.

I think it was hilarious. And I don't think enough people care enough to be deterred from playing the game to significantly impact sales. Remember, no such thing as bad publicity

I'd like to thank the forum members with no taste or class for defending EA... now we know who you are.
