I never go to that crappy website. They have pretty much always been against AMD anyways.

Yesterday I clicked on the article. Saw that it was from Omid Rahmat and immediately closed it.

Don't waste your time, boys and girls.

Even though I just bought a P4, that article is totally lame. I will definately buy an Athlon 64 maybe next year when the market and technology is better.

I even *like* THG, and I've gotta be honest: their technical reviews are pretty good, but when one of their writers gets up on a soapbox and starts rambling on... it's bad.

That article is horrid, I have read some slanted diatribes on hardware sites before, but that was the worst.
THG = toilet swirl stain of hardware sites.

What shocks me is that outside of the enthusiast community, THG seems to be one of the most respected hardware sites.

I read a few paragraphs. I stopped here:
There is nothing finer than raising the hackles of delusional AMD lovers. However, today I do so with a heavy heart. This is no time to take aim at the pompous, self-righteous head-in-the-sand-ostriches of the alternative chip lifestyle. One must embrace them, hug them and wipe away their tears.

They are the freaks of low-cost computing, the poor, downtrodden users of products that never seem to be able to match PR numbers to actual performance, now almost beaten into marginality for all time.

Of course, they won't admit this. They will howl at the moon, scream obscenities at nice, unassuming columnists with no axe to grind, and most of all, they will say:
It seems to me that THG is the "headline" spewing tabloid paper of online "review" sites (review is in quotes, because reviews are supposed to be as non-biased as possible). THG is worse than the tabloids actually. The mear fact the author claims to have "no axe to grind' after he has already gone and insulting people proves, beyond a shadow of doubt the site is full of sh!t. It doesn't matter if maybe they have a good technical article from time to time. The integrety of the site is in the crapper, and therefore anything said there is to be promptly flushed away. I avioded any URL that had "tomshardware.com" in it for a long time. I wish I had now. The OP did us lazy users a favor by not using the link button. If it were not so easy, I would not have soiled myself with that crap. ;)
