Anti-Aliasing!!!

Is there a way to force anti-aliasing for a game?

I am playing an older game rite now - the Longest Journey - and for some reason anti-aliasing doesnt work! I have a 9800pro and I'v read that i mite be an ATi problem cuz AA works with nVidia cards.

Neway, are there any geniuses here that have a solution???

1. Rightclick desktop, hit properties
2. Settings tab -> Advanced
3. Click tab for your card
4. go to Antialiasing setting
5. Turn oiff "Application controlled" and change to whatever level you like.

This is how I can do it with my 6600gt. I have no idea if it is different with an ATI card...

havnt used my other computer for a while (gave it to mum) but that had a 9800XT, dont remember any problems with forcing anti-aliasing, but cant remember exactly how to do it...lol

Yea... I pretty much tried all the standard stuff to force it... but still no luck.
I m hoping someone has some sort of driver hack or other software mod...
i remember reading about it somewhere b4 a while ago tho...

Doesn't work in every game. Try forcing AA in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, for example, and see how far that method gets you...
