AMD Athlon 1800+ (fried previous processor..SiSandra owns another processor)
WD "Caviar" 80gb x2 raid 1 usual speed 8mb cache
WD "Best buy special" 80gb 8mb cache..rather old drive
3GB (3x1gb) off brand PC2700 ram newish
And of course, Sapphire ATi Radieon X800GT AGP just got it a couple weeks ago


Isnt isolated to just PCI-E.
I wanted to "finish" this computer, install hardware to the maximum (but useable) capiblites, for she will be my bedroom box, till I get my intel box running, then she'll become a server..untill it dies.

All that old stuff and 3GB of RAM???? Just curious.

Sure I could have just gotten one..But...come on..3 gigs.. + core system performance and no swap file, massive cache settings, and prefetcher tweaks.

Hey, I have exactly the same problem !! I have Sapphire x800 GT 128 MB and I have a real hardcore on Call of Duty 2. I didn`t know it`s like that only when AA is x2 (thanks ). This is what I get playing CoD2 with AA x2:

I have a lot of Artifacts on Quake4 too, maybe somebody knows something new about it ? Yesterday I wrote to Sapphire Support in my country, I`m curious what will they say about that...
