As serious as the situation is, I wish the media would stop reporting all these cases already. Yeah, it's their job, but it serves no purpose other than to scare people further. We already know to be more careful when receiving suspicious packages or envelopes... all of them actually. Just tell us:

1) Be careful with everything we receive
2) Know where the nearest hospital is

That's it... quit scaring people even more with new outbreaks... it's serving no beneficial purpose. We already know it'll show up somewhere else tomorrow too.

well, considering there are reports that the ventilation and underground tunnel system in the house may be carrying anthrax, Im sure the 12,000 folks working there who might be affected have a right to know the latest details.

Explain to me how you notify 12,000 full time, part time, intern, and volunteer workers, plus however many various people who visited there over the weeks without making some sort of public announcement.

Not only that, but imagine how the country would react when those 12,000 people starting telling friends, those friends started telling friends. Not only would nasty rumours be spread, but the country would be left with no verification, only making the situation worse.

CBC is reporting that a bunch of politicians from Ontario, including the Premier,
were at Governer Pataki's office around the time the anthrax contamination took
