Anther Mandrake question.

How can I change the video card settings from the command line within Mandrake 8.a using XFree86 4.01?

1. Edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 by hand (using vi, emacs, your favorite text editor)

-OR-

2. Run Xconfigurator. (that's on RH, perhaps this utility goes by another name in Mandrake or there is a custom utility they provide to do the same thing Xconfigurator does, I'm not sure)

I got it. Just run "xf86config" and it'll run through a text version to setup your video card and monitor settings.

I belive you can run a proggie from console calle "Xfdrake"
