antenna question..

we have an auido/video baby monitor running 900MHz, i believe.

i'm not sure if it's a POS or my wireless network is interfering (all devices on 802.11g), but the signal is just not good. cordless phones are 5.8Ghz

is there a way to boost the signal by adding a diff antenna?

well, it's probably not your phone due to the frequency difference, and 802.11g is in the ballpark of 2.4GHz, so that is also unlikely. The problem with adding an antenna is that all the electronics are set up for that specific antenna, so changing it throws everything off. (also a common problem with RC airplane controls). how far apart are the transmitter and receiver?
