Antenna extension help.

Hello guys, I just recently purchased the Rosewill N600PCE Wireless N Dual Band Adapter. My desktop is on the floor at the side of my desk and I'm pretty sure that isn't an ideal spot for the two antennas that will be sticking out the back of the chassis once I install this wifi card. I will need one of these to get the antennas in a more ideal location. Just wondering, would getting one RP-SMA extension cable and enabling placement of one antenna provide less range and/or signal transfer rates as opposed to getting two of those RP-SMA cables and enabling placement of both antennas? I was told that one antenna having the RP-SMA extension cable is all that's necessary while the other antenna can stay screwed directly to the wifi card. Thanks.

the more antennas you can get into an area with better signal, the better. buy two cables. one will probably help a lot, but two antennas placed in open range will be better.
