I had a TruePower 430 with a 5V rail dropping WAY below spec which was causing cold boot problems. I sent it back, they replaced it with another TruePower 430 that I just got today and installed... I'm checking the voltages again on this one... just so ya know, their spec is 3% for each the 3.3, 5, and 12 volt rails.
Here's the votlages as read by my DMM attatched to a molex connector that's not plugged into any peripherals...
5V = 4.83
12V = 11.66
The 5V rail is STILL out of spec on this replacement one... and the 12V rail is RIGHT on the edge. Hmmmm... do I waste more time and money to ship it back to them and get another one, or do I sell it on eBay and get a REAL power supply from PC Power and Cooling? Decisions decisions...
