Antec's reliability or Evercase's value?

i am trying to build my first ever computer and i am stuck on which case i should use:

antec KS-282 + PP303XP

which has NO fans but case and PS are made by Antec...

or Evercase 4252

which has one side fan and front USB...

and Allied 350W Power Supply

going with these cheap cases because i'm really tight for cash...

If you're really strapped for cash, just go out to your local PC store and grab a $30-40 ATX case with 300+W power supply. I'm assuming you don't want to OC at all

Get a couple of fans and you're set. To save money, get a Duron based system and an older motherboard, preferably DDR at least.

i have thought about that too...
but i figured i rather skim on the graphic card or use my old moniter to get a durable case and PS that won't kill my HD and i can reuse them

Well, here's a question, do you want the inside of your case to be spacious or not?

I owned the Antec SX830 and SX1030 cases. They were heavy and bulky. It wasn't fun when I moved around. I got rid of both cases and replaced one with the Lian-Li 65 and the other with the beige evercase.

The Evercase is sorta tight not lots of room but it does a great job and it's screwless.

My side fan is gone since the cut the panel and installed a window.

i'm just going to fit a mobo with an athlon in it and just video card, cd writer and basic stuff in it
i saw the antec case at bestbuy and it is HEAVY!
but that doesn't matter i just wonder if the antec PS is good and which one is a better value

it's sorta a tight fit for me since I wrapped all the PSU wires in split loom, so it looks like a clean case. The evercase will be fine for your setup though. 303XP PSU is pretty good, I had one of those and modded it with a panaflo 1la. It's quieter than my QuietPC 300W PSU (80 BUCKS). I once had a 1Ghz Axia chip and OCed it fine to 1.5 Ghz with the Antec PSU. I think the voltage on the rails are good also.

I have that same Antec case and love it. It is very well built and the power supply does me fine. I am running an athlonXP 1900, vid, sound, net cards, 6 usb ports(all of which are used), 48x cdrw, dvd drive, and 40gb 7200rpm HD. while powering 2 case fans and 2 cold cathodes. Not bad for a 300w PS. You will not be disappointed in that case.
