Antech has some really good customer service.

I have a problem with my case and I submitted a ticket. Someone actually CALLED me to check up on the matter. That is what I call good customer service. That's why I only buy Antec cases and PSUs.

I don't know.
They seem to be going down hill.
Antec told me they no longer cross shipping items, (even with credit card of course).
Had to many problems when they did do it.

That meant that I had to wait 3 weeks to get up and running again when my Aria, (which has a funky Antec proprietary power supply), took a dump after a few months of light usage. It wouldn't have been so bad if I could have swapped a generic into system for the 3 weeks, but nope. Before they could send replacement, they had to receive defective unit, inspect it, then issue a replacement which they shipped UPS ground from California to Florida. Sucks...

I'm done with them after that. Sold Aria for a huge loss the day I recieved replacement power supply. Quality of parts, Antec rates a D here. Service rates a C-.

For comparison.
Just had a Belkin router take a dump.
Blocked by DoS protection error glitch that many are now reporting as a firmware issue with the router.
Called Belkin, and they said upper level tech support would call back within 48 hours.
The next day, they called.
Tech said because I had problems, they would cross ship the next model up from what I had.
So free upgrade, and cross shipping, with a company that has lifetime warranty, and calls you back.

Does this make Belkin worthy? Helps, but no. All there latest routers are buggy.

So your problem was not so much that Antec didn't inspect and then fix/replace what you bought but because they wouldn't cross-ship the item to you? Not saying that it wouldn't have been super to have cross shipping but that was never promised by them.

As someone who has worked with online retailers sometimes it's a pain in the rear to get customers to ship the defective product back. Especially in the case of a company like Antec who sells it's products through other entities. If you bought a computer from Dell and they cross ship you a new computer since the old was defective and you don't ship it back, they can charge your credict card or charge your account if you're a business. Antec has none of this since it's merely honoring a warranty and someone like Newegg is not and can not by law give out customer info like credit card # or other highly personal info. Don't blame Antec but the farknuts who screwed it up for everyone else.
