I need a good case with excellent airflow. My current one is an oem crap job. Dont want to spend more than 100 bucks including shipping. Suggestions. Is antec better than chieftec?
 
i have a chieftec antec clone... basically its the same case... i would say go for whichever one is cheaper/ you like more.
 
But they arent the same case. I can't find any chieftec steel cases anymore. They are all aluminum and the antec cases are mostly steel. Plus I would prefer to stay away from the mod window since I don't have the desire to clean the thing daily. I already have a 430ps from antec.. so I am trying to find a good price on a great case. Also I need a front cover (10 month old son thinks the buttons on the case I have now are cool.. not cool in the middle of a game though).
 
The Chieftecs, Enermaxes, and sx-antecs are the same boxes, make by Chenming. they're sometimes trimmed out differently, or have different bezels, but they're the same critters. Newegg has the smaller Chieftec in back, very reasonable. They also have the new model 301 Chenming- plain jane, but it breathes well and is inexpensive.

 
I have the Uneec version in aluminum. Whether or not you want the side window, go with aluminum. The weight difference is incredible.
