Antec True430 - Fans running too slow (?)

Yeah, I just installed a true430, and noticed that the two fans in it are barely moving any air, although still spinning. Through the PC health thing in the bios I found they were running at only ~1000rpm.

Is there some reason for this? Should they be running this slowly? Can I remedy this somehow? I've got to fix this, my PSU and CPU are both getting hotter than they ought to.

Same here; mine's going a bit faster, but still way slower than any other fans in the system. I'm not sure which fan is monitored; at any rate, MBM5 is currently reporting a speed of 1454rpms for the PSU fan. I assume they'll increase if the PSU detects that it is getting too hot.

Yup yup, low noise. I have three Antec TruePowers (2x330, 1x430). Besides low noise, seems like higher quality power supplies can survive higher temperatures.

The fan(s) are temp controlled. If the air coming out the back of the PSU is too warm for you, just go into the PSU case and connect the red lead of the fan direct to 12V (or a manual control like the Zalman Fan Mate) instead of to the thermal control board. That's what I did with my current PSU as the air coming out was too warm for my taste.
