Antec True Power Supplies- quick question for those that have one

I just got the 430W version today...it has fan only power connectors that are identical to regular power connectors except that you're only supposed to plug fans into them. But my fan connector has only two leads going into the power connector...the other two holes are empty...can anyone here with a trueXXX power supply tell me if this is supposed to be like this? I can always get another one tomorrow, or open one up at work and check...but thanks!!!

Yes, thats normal. The fan only connectors are actually 7 volt modded connectors, meaning they supply 7v to a fan instead of 12v. This makes the fan run slower and quieter.

I think it is controlled by temperature, as your power supply fan speeds up so do the fans connected to the fan only plug. I have the Antec 550w True Control and it has the fan only plugs but I can control the speed of the fans. When I first boot my PC up all the fans connected to the fan plug will be on low speed even when I turn the pot switch to full as my pc warms up the fans speed will increase.

its normal those leads are a ground and a 12v line.........the 12v line tho gets manipulated so what ever fans you connect to them spin at whatever RPM the internal fans spin.......so if the internal ones are at say 8v's then the ones connected will be 8v's
